Air transportation (where included) is based on contracted bulk fare(s) in economy class, with participating IATA or ARC carrier. All fares are subject to change and availability. Should airline schedule changes result in a necessity to alter the land arrangements, any additional expenses must be borne by the passenger.
All hotels are carefully selected. Accommodations are on "run-of-the-house" basis. Room assignments are made by hotel managements upon arrival. We reserve the right to substitute hotels of the same or similar category. Holiday supplements may apply in some cases.
All meals as indicated on each itinerary. Lunches or dinners when included at hotels are Table d'hote and limited to specific dining rooms at hotels. Meals aboard cruises are provided according to cruise line standards.
All itineraries are subject to change. Departure is guaranteed with a minimum number of participants, in case of less than minimum requested participants dates and prices might change.
Transfers, including inner city travel, to/from airports, hotels, trains and ports are included, as indicated, as per the scheduled itinerary.
Land Only - Land only prices available. For land only participants, arrival and departure transfers are not included.
All rates are in US Dollars. All fares and rates are based on tariffs in foreign exchange levels in effect as of March 2006 and are subject to change. All rates are per person sharing a double room unless otherwise stated.
Each passenger must be in possession of a valid passport valid for 6 months from date of departure and applicable visas. Passengers must check visa requirements for the countries and obtain necessary visas prior to departure from the USA. Mantrav is not responsible for any delays, damages, losses, missed portions of tours or other missed services incurred by passengers who fail to obtain necessary travel documents.
A deposit of $400 per person together with optional insurance must be received upon booking. The balance is due for land arrangements not later than 60 days prior to departure. Late payments may necessitate overnight delivery of documents, an expense that must be borne by the passenger.
Major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Amex, JCB) are accepted for payment (+2% per transaction). No charge for debit cards.
Subsequent to initial reservation, any revision will incur a $50 change fee per person for each revision, for each country.
All monies paid to us are protected by the "Standard Fidelity Trust Protection Plan" put simply, this means you can book with confidence knowing that your holiday and money is safe, and where applicable, in accordance with the Package Travel, Package Holiday and Package Tour Regulation 1992 (SL 1992 3288) which fully complies with current laws and EU directives.
60 days before departure: 25% will be deducted from the total amount.
45 days before departure: 50% will be deducted from the total amount.
30 days or less before departure: 100% will be deducted from the total amount.
Additionally, airfare cancellation charges will be incurred in accordance with the rules of the individual airlines involved. Travel insurance is highly recommended. Refunds on Land Arrangements - Once your trip has commenced, no refund can be given for any missed transfers, sightseeing, meals, accommodations, services or any voluntary absence from a tour. In the case of an emergency departure from your tour, based on proper documentation, any refunds secured on your behalf will be subject to a $55 processing fee. Refund requests must be sent in writing no later than 2 weeks after return.
Transatlantic flights allow two checked bags per person with neither to exceed 62 inches. Total dimensions of both bags not to exceed 102 inches, plus one carry-on bag not to exceed 39 inches. In addition, baggage is limited to 70 pounds per bag. When traveling between countries and on domestic flights within each country, baggage is weighed, allowing 44 pounds. Any excess baggage is at the passenger's own expense. Infants: No baggage permitted.
Tips: Though service charges are included, it is customary to show your appreciation to hotel and cruise personnel and to the guide and escort of your tour.
Taxes: Border Taxes, Airport Taxes, Port Taxes, Customs & Immigration Fees - must be prepaid together with the airfare.
General: Passports, visa fees, baggage insurance, wines and mineral waters, after-dinner coffee and tea and all other items of a personal nature.
Insurance: We recommend that you purchase adequate and comprehensive travel insurance before departure. Neither Mantrav or your travel agent is responsible for loss or damage to luggage, accidents en route or ill health that may require you to miss part of your trip or your return to the USA with the group.
Special Notice: Delays, cancellations and overbooking may occur on air flights, cruises, and land reservations by the participating carriers and hotels. While we do everything possible to avoid these inconveniences, we cannot and will not assume responsibility for the respective carriers and hotels. Mantrav is not responsible for any airline tickets (domestic or international) not purchased through Mantrav. Fares and surface arrangements are based on tariffs and exchange rates in effect as of November 2005. All rates are subject to change.
The guest agrees to participate in promotional, publicity, or merchandising pictures of the guests during holiday or event. The guest hereby agrees that Mantrav International may use the security photo of the guest, if taken, for in-house record keeping. The guest hereby authorizes the reproduction, sale, copyright, broadcast and /or distribution of said video, sound recording and pictures without limitations. The guest further agrees and releases Mantrav International, their representatives and agents from any liability, loss, expense or claims arising from distribution, broadcast, sale or use of his or her likeness or voice. The guest certifies that he/she is over 18 years of age or has written permission from their legal guardian. If a guest desires not to be included in any promotional videos and pictures, he/she can send a request form to not appear in any promotional material. Mantrav International will then attempt to exclude those guests who have signed such a request, but no guarantees can be made by Mantrav International that the guest will not be included in promotional materials.
Mantrav acts only as agent for the tour members in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, touring, restaurants or any other services in connection with the itinerary. We will exercise reasonable care in making such arrangements. However, we do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity to person and property because of an act of default of any hotel, airline carrier, restaurant, company, or person rendering any of the services. We reserve the right that any request for a refund on services must be authorised by the resort owner and their descision is final. The right is reserved to cancel or change itineraries or to substitute comparable services without notice. The right is also reserved to decline to accept or to retain any tour passengers should such person's health or general deportment in the opinion of Mantrav impede the operation of the tour or be a detriment of the other tour passengers.
