Itinerary

Day 1 Cape Town

Depart on an overnight flight to Cape Town, South Africa.

Day 2 Cape Town

Arrive in Cape Town. Transfer to hotel where you will find a "Welcome" bottle of South African wine in your room. Orientation with your local guide. Welcome dinner at the blues overnight at the Glen.

Day 3 Cape Town

Day touring of Cape Town and Peninsula, entrance to the penguins, followed by lunch at Black Marlin. Free time in the city. This evening a Special Dinner at the Zinger. Overnight at the Glen.

Day 4 Cape Town

Tour of Sandy Bay, Table Mountain Tour, Seal Island cruise. Special dinner and show at "On Broadway". Wine included. Renowned "Drag Show". Overnight at the Glen.

Day 5 Winelands

Day of touring in the Winelands. Start off with a visit to the Afrikaans language monument situated high on the slopes of Paarl Mountain to get an overview of the day's itinerary. After a city tour of Paarl join the team at the Nelson's Creek wine estate for a cellar tour and wine tasting. This estate made history by being the first to assist its workers to produce their own wines - bottled under the 'New Beginnings' label. We then make our way to Franschoek for lunch including wine at the Ballon Rouge restaurant. Return to Cape Town; enjoy your last evening in this unique city. Overnight at the Glen.

Day 6 Game Reserve

Depart hotel before noon. Transfer to Cape Town International Airport for flight to Hoedspruit. Shuttle to Game Lodge in Kruger National Park. Arrive at Game Lodge for a once in a lifetime experience combining a luxury 5 star hotel and the natural wild life in South Africa. Lunch followed by a game drive (open vehicle safari drive). Return for authentic outdoor bush dinner. Overnight in Game Lodge Garonga.

Day 7 Game Reserve

Early morning game drive to experience the sunrise in the bush. Return for breakfast. Bush walk with game ranger. Lunch followed by free afternoon. Sunset game drive followed by authentic bush dinner at the reserve. Overnight in Game Lodge Garonga.

Day 8 Game Reserve

Early morning game drive. Return for breakfast followed by free morning to enjoy the facilities of this 5 star resort hotel. Optional bush walk with game ranger. Lunch followed by free afternoon. Sunset game drive and dinner. Overnight in Game Lodge Garonga.

Day 9 Johannesburg

Early morning game drive for last glance of the wild life in South Africa. Return for breakfast. Transfer to Johannesburg via Pretoria. City tour of Johannesburg, the capital of South Africa. Free afternoon in the city. Evening visit to Johannesburg's gay ghetto to experience local nightlife - farewell dinner at Local Grill including wine. Overnight in JOHANNESBURG.

Day 10 Departure

Depart hotel transfer to Johannesburg International Airport for your return flight home. Arrival the next day.
