Terms & conditions

Air Transportation

Air transportation (where included) is based on contracted bulk fare(s) in economy class, with participating IATA or ARC carrier. All fares are subject to change and availability. Should airline schedule changes result in a necessity to alter the land arrangements, any additional expenses must be borne by the passenger.

Accommodation

All hotels are carefully selected. Accommodations are on "run-of-the-house" basis. Room assignments are made by hotel managements upon arrival. We reserve the right to substitute hotels of the same or similar category. Holiday supplements may apply in some cases.

Meals

All meals as indicated on each itinerary. Lunches or dinners when included at hotels are Table d’hôte and limited to specific dining rooms at hotels. Meals aboard cruises are provided according to cruise line standards. In-flight meals are not included and can be ordered on request.

Itineraries

All itineraries are subject to change. Departure is guaranteed with a minimum number of participants, in case of less than minimum requested participants dates and prices might change.

Transfers

Transfers, including inner city travel, to/from airports, hotels, trains and ports are not included (unless otherwise stated), and can be ordered as an extra.

Rates / Tariffs and Exchange Fluctuations

All rates are in USD, EUR and UK Sterling. All fares and rates in UK Sterling are based on EUR rate of exchange on the date of booking and are subject to change. All rates are per apartment/bungalow/room per night (unless otherwise stated).

Travel Documents

Each passenger must be in possession of a valid passport valid for 6 months from date of departure and applicable visas. Passengers must check visa requirements for the countries and obtain necessary visas prior to departure from the UK. Mantrav is not responsible for any delays, damages, losses, missed portions of tours or other missed services incurred by passengers who fail to obtain necessary travel documents.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

From time to time we send out promotional material and newsletters, special offers and discounts, all our promotional material is send out in plane envelopes, if you do not wish to receive this material from us please to let us know. If you wish your documents (such as invoices or vouchers) not to be sent by post or you would like to be contacted by email only - please let us know.

Deposits and Final Payment for Group Departures

A deposit of 20% together with optional insurance must be received upon booking. The balance is due for land arrangements not later than 90 days prior to departure. Late payments may necessitate overnight delivery of documents, an expense that must be borne by the passenger.

Credit Card Payments

Major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Amex) are accepted for payment (subject to 2.5% handling fee per transaction). 2GBP/3EUR handling charge for debit cards. Unfortunately we are not able to accept Maestro or SOLO cards for payments.

Change Fee

Subsequent to initial reservation, any revision will incur a €30/£30 change fee per person for each revision, for each country.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Charges on Accommodation prior to Departure:

All Accommodations: 180 days prior to departure - €25/£25 service charge

Less than 90 days prior to departure - 25%

Less than 60 days prior to departure - 100%

NOTE: Some hotels may have a different Cancellation Policy and charge, in this case, the hotel owners policy will be final All cancellations must be in writing and sent to us:

Additionally, airfare cancellation charges will be incurred in accordance with the rules of the individual airlines involved. Travel insurance is highly recommended. Refunds on Land Arrangements - Once your trip has commenced, no refund can be given for any missed transfers, sightseeing, meals, accommodations, services or any voluntary absence from a tour. In the case of an emergency departure from your tour, based on proper documentation, any refunds secured on your behalf will be subject to a €55/£55 processing fee. Refund requests must be sent in writing no later than 2 weeks after return.

Baggage and Airline Taxes

Any extra charges are subject to your airline policy. Check luggage policy (dimensions, weight) with your airline before booking. Taxes such as border taxes, airport taxes, port taxes, customs & immigration fees - must be prepaid together with the airfare.

Travel Insurance

We recommend that you purchase adequate and comprehensive travel insurance before departure. Neither Mantrav or your travel agent is responsible for loss or damage to luggage, accidents en route or ill health that may require you to miss part of your trip or your return home.

Video / Photographic Release

The guest agrees to participate in promotional, publicity, or merchandising pictures of the guests during holiday or event. The guest hereby agrees that Mantrav International may use the security photo of the guest, if taken, for in-house record keeping. The guest hereby authorizes the reproduction, sale, copyright, broadcast and /or distribution of said video, sound recording and pictures without limitations. The guest further agrees and releases Mantrav International, their representatives and agents from any liability, loss, expense or claims arising from distribution, broadcast, sale or use of his or her likeness or voice. The guest certifies that he/she is over 18 years of age or has written permission from their legal guardian. If a guest desires not to be included in any promotional videos and pictures, he/she can send a request form to not appear in any promotional material. Mantrav International will then attempt to exclude those guests who have signed such a request, but no guarantees can be made by Mantrav International that the guest will not be included in promotional materials.

Disclaimer

Mantrav acts only as agent for the tour members in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, touring, restaurants or any other services in connection with the itinerary. We will exercise reasonable care in making such arrangements. However, we do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity to person and property because of an act of default of any hotel, airline carrier, restaurant, company, or person rendering any of the services. We reserve the right that any request for a refund on services must be authorised by the resort owner and their decision including the amount of refund is final. The right is reserved to cancel or change itineraries/accommodations/resorts/hotels due to a circumstances beyond our control, or to substitute comparable services without notice. The right is also reserved to decline to accept or to retain any tour passengers should such person's health or general deportment in the opinion of Mantrav impede the operation of the tour or be a detriment of the other tour passengers. Delays, cancellations and overbooking may occur on air flights, cruises, and land reservations by the participating carriers and hotels. While we do everything possible to avoid these inconveniences, we cannot and will not assume responsibility for the respective carriers and hotels. Mantrav is not responsible for any airline tickets (domestic or international) not purchased through Mantrav.
